"I believe we must make Allentown safe, attractive, affordable, and livable for ALL RESIDENTS AND VISITORS. And I believe that my three main priorities will help to accomplish this."
THREE MAIN PRIORITIES
1) INTRODUCE AND PASS TAX RELIEF FOR ALLENTOWN TAXPAYERS TO
a) CUT EXPENSES by identifying and eliminating all unnecessary and duplicative spending and
b) INCREASE REVENUES by finding ALTERNATIVE REVENUE sources, such as grants and public/private partnerships where money can be to pay for city programs WITHOUT RAISING TAXES.
2) CREATE A MILLENNIAL LEADERSHIP COUNCIL TO
identify, train, and create the next generation of Allentown city and community leaders from among the many smart young women and men who have attended our public, private, charter, and cyber schools in the City.
3) DEVELOP CREATIVE NON-TAX STRATEGIES TO
reduce the over-reliance on tax revenues to pay for an ever-increasing array of city services, many of which can be provided more efficiently and more economically by our federal, state, or county governments or by private businesses or nonprofits or by a combination of these other valuable community resources and not by our taxpayers.
